Finally Accepting My Fate
I’m 45 and this is my first thong, which feels like a late entry into a very established club. I debated whether it was “age appropriate,” then realized most of my swimsuits end up there anyway, so… why fight destiny?
The fit is great—like it actually belongs there, which is a refreshing change. I spent an entire beach day not constantly adjusting fabric, which freed up valuable time for reading and pretending I understand the plot of my book.
Only downside: I’ve discovered some shockingly pale areas of my cheeks that have clearly been in witness protection. Proceed with caution.
Overall, efficient, liberating, and slightly humbling.
