We prioritise the use of natural fibres whenever possible, though polyester and nylon still serve an important function in creating durable, resilient yarns for specialty fabrics such as sportswear, swimwear, and knitwear.
By incorporating Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester and nylon yarns, we reduce our reliance on non-renewable fossil fuels, lower emissions, and help prevent plastic waste from ending up in landfills and oceans. This also allows us to encourage new recycling pathways for polyester and nylon garments that can no longer be worn. For our knitwear, we carefully blend recycled polyester with viscose to achieve optimal stretch, recovery, and long-lasting quality. Additionally, recycled nylon is mixed with GOTS Certified Organic Cotton for select apparel styles in our latest collection.
GRS-certified recycled fibers are a key feature in all of our collections, reducing the need for virgin synthetic materials. These fibers must contain at least 50% recycled content.
