Monday 6:30am: I have usually checked my emails with my morning coffee at home before making my way from Coolangatta (where I live) to Byron Bay (where ZZ is Head Quartered). During this time, I make a list and begin to prioritise before I have even hit the office. Bad habit? Or workaholic. I still have not yet decided!
8:30am: Each day my first stop is usually at our warehouse - which is conveniently down the road from our office. It is always fun to start my day here and I love the girls in the warehouse and their energy.
9:00am: My boxes of media samples are first port of call.
I start here to send out pieces to preferred media and influencers, which is organised by styles and months into separate tubs. Because - organised. After organising the garments, writing personalised notes, packaging and booking these online, this task usually takes around two hours.
Tuesday 11:30am: Whether its to plan our next season showings or just for a brief chat, at some point each day I sit down with Candice, our Director and other team members. I always find this time valuable as working collaboratively is a strength in our office.
Wednesday 10:00am: Today I focus on our upcoming Sales Schedule for NSW, QLD and WA, three regions I am looking after. A key part of my role is sourcing new clientele, preparing our appointment schedule and touching base with existing stockists for our brand.
Wednesday 1:00pm: Not part of my job description but something fun to mix things up - our Garment Technician Jill will often ask me to try samples on for her. I love getting sneak peeks of what they are working on and of course, always happy to help the team out with measurements.
Thursday 3:00pm: Between emails and meetings - Candice and I will have an impromptu photoshoot wearing new product as apart of our ZZ STAFF Profile promotions for Instagram. This highlights new styles worn in every day environments. Here, I am wearing my new season favourite, the Awoken Playsuit in Bone.
Friday 9:00am: This afternoon I am off to Splendour in the Grass to head up a give away promotion and hand out 100 of our RIFT ONEPIECES to on brand girls at the festival. A huge job highlight and awesome experience, one that Lili and I are prepping for before the week ends.
