What are your every day work essentials?
My essentials for work (but also every day life) are the Mario Badescu Facial Spray and my 1L Corkcicle water bottle. I feel like if i'm fresh and hydrated then I have more energy which is essential for work, especially in retail!
We're so excited to have you on board with the ZZ team in Los Angeles - what are you looking forward to most moving to LA?
I'm most looking forward to being surrounded by new creatives within the art and fashion industry in LA. I genuinely feel that creatively we can reflect our environments and other individuals within our circles, so i'm excited to see how being in a new city will inspire me and help me progress both personally and professionally.
What are your go to pieces when styling an outfit?
I'd say I have more of a go-to-palette! I love wearing tonal outfits, particularly various earthy tones because it not only looks clean and fresh, but can also be dressed up or down quite easily. Throw in some denim and a few gold pieces of jewellery and that's what you can assume i'll be wearing most days.

You've worked and collaborated with a lot of amazing brands - do you think this experience will help you in the pop up store?
I think the greatest skill I have learnt through my experiences is the concept of adapting a piece to suit your style, rather than adapting your style to suit one piece. I'm excited to show the LA customer just how easily a versatile Z&Z piece (or two) can fit in with their LA wardrobe.
LA is home to many famous models and creative artists that have helped shape the fashion industry. Describe your idea of the Los Angeles 'dream girl'
When I think of the LA dream girl - she's wearing vintage! Which is why I love that all ZZ pieces (swimwear included) can be pared back with your favourite vintage denim.

Zulu & Zephyr's upcoming campaign is carefully curated for a woman that's comfortable and the woman who is in control. What women come to mind when you think of this?
Two women came straight to mind! First up is Elly McGaw, Aussie Stylist & Creative Director living in NYC. She nails the comfortable but cool look. Also, Phoebe Tonkin - my favourite Aussie actress. I admire her for her acting success, but also for her humility and relaxed style.
Give us an insight on a typical day at work at the ZZ pop up store at platform?
The typical day at work in the ZZ pop up would definitely have to start with some good tunes! I love a well rounded retail experience, so next up on the agenda is lighting a candle (or anything that smells good really) and making sure that the store is fresh, fully stocked and ready to go. Naturally, next comes assisting and styling our customers, managing inventory and touching base with the ZZ team back home in Byron.
You're so lucky to be enjoying some extra time of Californian Sun - what are your favourite pieces from instore?
I'm loving the new Powder Blue Signature swim colour way - and i'm a sucker for the Balconette Top and Curve Brief.
What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
That I didn't grow up by the beach! The closest waves were at least an hour's drive from where I grew up so I didn't spend much time there at all. I've always loved the ocean but it wasn't until I moved to Bondi for the first time a few years back that I decided I would never live too far from it again.
