Candice, Director — Mum to Zimmy and Val
How has your style changed since becoming a mother?
I live in good quality basics and I am probably more conservative.
How would you describe motherhood?
Its like going to work 24/7 - but there is no annual leave or sick pay!
How do you manage the balance between motherhood and owning your own business?
I picked a good father for my kids - he is hands on and adventurous and very devoted to our babies when I am away from them for work.
Do you have any Mother’s Day rituals that you love to share with your family?
I used to have the day off from being a Mum and go and spend some free time. These days, I prefer to spend it with my little ones.
What is your greatest hope for your little ones?
My greatest hope is that they achieve their highest well being. That they are active and enjoy life and see the cup as half full, not half empty.
Children’s clothing has become such a prominent part of the fashion industry. What labels do you love to dress your children in?
Millk, ZZ Mini and Zara.
You’ve grown up with such an empowering and fashion forward mum. What’s the best styling tip she’s ever taught you?
"Beige is so boring".

Karla, Director — Mum to Mini and Ru
What is your Mum style?
Simple, uncomplicated and neutral.
How would you describe motherhood in 3 words?
Crazy, wild, beautiful.
How do you manage the balance between motherhood and owning your own business?
Just get on with it. Celebrate the small feats. Like finishing a cup of coffee or finally organising that pile of crap on your desk.
Do you have any Mother’s Day rituals that you love to share with your family?
Switching off and being present for the day.
What is your greatest hope for your little ones?
To find their spiritual calling early in life and know they can accomplish anything. Most of all, I hope they know that love can conquer anything.
Children’s clothing has become such a prominent part of the fashion industry. What labels do you love to dress your children in?
Millk for basics, ZZ Mini for summer essentials and Bobo Choses and TAO for statement pieces. Kmart, Zara Target for everything in between.
You’ve grown up with such an empowering and fashion forward mum. What’s the best styling tip she’s ever taught you?
Everything that goes around, comes around.

Lauryn, Accounts Manager — Mum-to-be
You’re about to step into the world of motherhood — how exciting! What lessons has your own mother taught you that you will take with you on the journey?

My mum is and has always been my biggest influence and supporter, I'm so grateful to have been raised by such a strong-willed woman whose instilled great values. She’s taught me the importance of family time, to love always and be honest, and to make sure I always wear clean underwear.

You’re such a cool and collected character, are you hoping to take this into motherhood?

Thank you - yes most definitely. I think my husband plays a big part in this - he reminds me that perspective is everything and to take life slowly. We need to stop and enjoy the little moments. I think this is so important for motherhood.

What excites you most about becoming a mother?
I'm so excited for all the learning curves to come, for life to completely change and to be meeting my little one very soon.
