CARING FOR YOUR WOOL

CARING FOR YOUR WOOL

Rest / Air

The natural fibres have a protective coating, making it resistant to dirt, dust and odour. Simply air your woollens in filtered sun. Allow 24 hours before wearing again, this allows the wool to regulate and regenerate.

Occasionally wash

When washing on a delicate or wool cycle, use a specialist wool detergent at 30°C with a low spin setting. Dry woollens on a flat surface, placing a towel underneath to absorb any drips. Hanging wool up to dry will stretch pieces out of shape.

Store
Fold and store woollens in drawers. The weight of the wool will pull the piece out of shape if hung.

Care
Reduce pilling by limiting friction. Pilling is easily removed by hand picking, pilling comb, fabric shaver, or trimming scissors. Pilling is not a sign of poor quality, wool is a natural fibre.
