Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a global testing and certification system for textiles and their components. Every certified item — from the fabric down to the smallest button, zip or thread — has been tested for hundreds of harmful substances, including chemicals that are regulated, banned, or simply considered a health risk. If a product carries the label, you can trust that it has been independently verified safe for human contact.

Zulu & Zephyr metal hardware such as branded clasps and buttons are Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard, which ensures that no harmful substances are present. Our branded buttons are also produced in line with Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard.
