Golden is the Spring 17 collection by Zulu & Zephyr.

Golden takes us back to the 1970’s, coast side Australia and the simplicity of daily life of this time. A beach shack, two beautiful girls and an old saying ‘the days were slow, but the years went fast’.

Golden is also a collection of sentiment. Directors Karla and Candice Rose revisit the family photo album, recreating scenes of their mother and friends. The film, the colours, the textures and tan lines... inspiration pulled from original photographs from a golden moment in time.

Essential Spring categories include a variety of slip dresses, both bias cut and wrap versions, casual denim in signature indigo, saltwater blue and natural. Golden explores dressier elements with camisole and short sets, sitting side by side with soft knitwear and satin.

Most momentously is the swimwear offering for Spring 17 - cool cotton fabric, high cut styles in block colours like cornflower blue and olive. Ribbed styles take their place with shoulder detailing in rose and terracotta colour ways. And arguably the most exciting new style to date - ‘The Vivienne One Piece’ hails as a standout style throughout the collection.

Reminiscent of this time, Golden has also paved way for nostalgic detailing, like tortoise shell buttons, oversize oral shirting and charming playsuits and culotte pants - celebrating a part of history for Australian fashion and our brand, Zulu & Zephyr.
