Being a key category for Zulu & Zephyr, it's safe to say we LOVE denim. Mid rise, High Waisted, distressed boyfriend cut offs, chambray shirting - we want it all.
This season, we test run four of our favourite styles and talk about why and how to wear these wardrobe staples year round.

Amanda: First of all I loves that the new denim styles are clean with no rips. This is my number one favourite feature! The wash - all 3 colours are beautiful, they can all be worn with basic whites/ blacks & also prints - so easy to wear. Fit, especially the High Rise styles, love how they make the booty look. They have the vintage feel however, they are super flattering. Tan leather patch - love this update.
Sass: I am a casual girl at heart, so the new range of ZZ denim is the perfect wardrobe staple for teaming up with a crisp white tee while still achieving an effortless yet stylish look

I love that there is a wash and a cut to suit all personalities. My personal favourite is the High Rise Straight Leg in Light Blue, with it’s figure hugging yet comfortable waisted fit, bottom flattering back pockets, and raw cropped leg to show that cheeky bit of ankle!

There’s two things I think to myself when buying jeans - “Are these comfortable?” “Do these make my butt look good?” And that’s exactly how the ZZ jeans make me feel. Their simple structure, and beautifully detailed jackron patching, make me know these will be a timeless edition to my wardrobe that I will wear to death.

I’m usually only drawn to vintage denim - classic fits, subtle washes and rigid qualities. This style ticks all those boxes. The slim straight leg is comfortable while the high rise adds a flattering femme element. The natural colour way is easily styled in all seasons, and is a timeless addition to my wardrobe.

I LOVE the length of them all. Most of the time I end up cutting the bottom of my jeans to the length that ours are, much more flattering as I wear a lot of boots and do not like excess fabric around my ankles. SUPER COMFORTABLE and I really dig the fact they don’t have any rips in them - keeps them classic and gives them a vintage feel!
