What inspired you to come together and collaborate for Summer?
There are multiple prints throughout each ZZ collection, what made the BayLeaf so special for this collaboration?
We tend to keep our print offering few yet unique, a little nostalgic but with fresh interpretation. To us, the Bayleaf was the perfect foliage to introduce this season. Earthy, Leafy and not overly feminine.
Talk us through your day as a working creative and a beach lover in Byron Bay?
We begin the day with a dip or surf in the ocean and then head into the studio soon after. Work/life balance is key in this part of the world — too much beach time and you become a little complacent, too much work and you start to feel like your missing out on those magical beach days… Balance is everything.
Besides the SSC umbrella - what are your other top essentials.

Overseas destinations you’d like to visit with your SSC?
We’re currently lining up a trip to Formentera in 2018, along with all those other European dreamy coastlines. Stay tuned.

What is your favourite local beach and why is it special?
There’s something so special about The Pass & Wategoes, Byron Bay — both small cove-like beaches, covered with pandanus trees and rocky formations. Definitely where we want to spend our Sundays.
